At the NTDA Northern Ireland Regional meeting held on the 13th May at the Templeton Hotel in Templepatrick, Regional Chairman, Dasos Michaelides, provided an update on recent training activity in the region.
He explained that many Government departments in NI now insist that suppliers have relevant training in place. One such department had put out a notification to say that nobody is permitted to fit tyres to its vehicles unless they hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Diploma in Tyre Fitting Level 2 IMI / City and Guilds).
